Branches of Beauty all started with a breakfast at Warbreck Garden Centre in 2015.
Diane was struck by the ambience which matched her idea for the name of the new salon. After discussions and life changing decisions for both Ann and Diane, 'Branches of Beauty' opened its doors on 1st December 2015 and they haven't looked back since!
Their main aim is to provide quality therapy services and offer a tranquil haven where for a little while, you can, ‘Escape, Breathe and Relax’.
About Ann
Ann has spent 30 years in the beauty industry, including roles as Senior Therapist in a busy town centre salon, and Co-Ordinator, Course Leader and Internal Verification posts at a range of Further Education Colleges. She has trained and worked with large cosmetic companies (which includes Clarins and Dermalogica) and played a key role in setting up and running the beauty therapy department at a local college, where she worked for 21 years. Ann strives to maintain the highest levels of professionalism and quality. Ann says "'I've learnt that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel"
About Diane
Qualified for over 30 years, Diane has always been passionate about the beauty therapy industry. She is also a Foot Health Practitioner, and has run previous beauty therapy businesses. She also has many years teaching experience within the industry. Diane worked in Further Education as Programme Lead for Beauty Therapy, Nails, Complementary and Catering departments. She has served as a national external verifier and has written beauty therapy exams for recognised national awarding bodies. Diane is also a public speaker with invitations to numerous women’s and charity events. Diane says "Behind us are memories, Beside us are friends, Before us are dreams..."
